Shipping and Terms & Conditions


Order Processing:

Once the customer has ordered in writing his products of choice, we send out a confirmation of order. The duration of order processing depends on what and how much was ordered. For carved stone and ceramic items from our catalog the turn-around time is within 2-3 weeks. Regarding teak furniture, we can complete a 20' or 40’ container within 4-6 weeks including packing and documentation. You also have to add the delivery time of shipment, which is 3-5 weeks, depending on your location.

Pricing:

All prices being published at either our website or our product catalogue are F.O.B. Semarang/Indonesia port, and subject to change without prior notice. These prices are net prices, no additional taxes have to be added on top of theses prices. However, additional shipping costs have to be calculated, shipping costs are not included in our pricing.

Product Packing:

The packing of your purchases is completed in our warehouse facilities. The furniture items are individually wrapped in plastic sheet and then corrugated cardboard for protection. Fragile large products (ceramic vases, stone products etc.) are wrapped and then a wooden frame is constructed to hold and protect the object during shipment. If needed we fumigate the container and put absorbmatic bags inside it. All packed items are numbered and the contents listed correlate to the packing list and shipping invoice. We personally supervise the packing and have total control of how the goods are placed maximizing the available space. In this way we ensure everything is intact for a trouble free journey.

Minimum Order Quantity:

The Minimum Order Quantity for our items is one 20 ft. sea freight container.

Sea Freight:

We offer our customers to organize the delivery of the container(s) to their port of destination (subject to costs); we are affiliated with several internationally accredited shipping and forwarding agencies. Please feel free to take advantage of the their services to expedite the transport, shipping, and delivery of your order. However, the customer is free to organize it by himself with his own logistics partners. For the consignment of our goods wee are using FCL Full Container Loads of 20', 40’, and 40’ HC shipping containers (30, 60 and 72m³ cubic meter).

Export-Documentation:

The handling of your cargo arrangements includes taking care of all the relevant official export documentation required by the Indonesian authorities and special documentation required (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificate of origin, bill of lading, customs clearances Indonesia etc.). All this is already included in the shipping cost. When your shipment is ready to proceed and documentation is completed all documents are forwarded via courier to your broker/agent/notify party, while the container is in transit.

Insurance Cover:

We advise our customers to insure the shipment of their goods against any damage, until the time the consignment reaches the destination. Insurance from our shipping partners is available (valid from port Semarang), and is covering in case of damages in transit. Otherwise we suggest a conversation with your personal insurance broker and request short term cover on your existing policies for the value and duration of your shipment.

Shipping Cost:

The shipping costs depend on the final destination; when you contact us we will give you a definitive quote for your destination. However, all of our shipping quotes include documentation fees, local handling & trucking fees, packing & stuffing fees, port loading fees and all other local charges levied in the delivery of your container to port Semarang. D.D.C. fees (Document & Destination Charge) levied by the port of destination are not included (some international ports charge this fee upon the arrival and handling of your shipment). Please do check with your customs department for more information.

Delivery Time:

For container consignments the final destination is the key. We will provide you with a definitive shipping schedule for the port nearest your location. Most destinations (global) transit time is 3 -5 weeks.

Changes and cancellation:

All orders will be confirmed in writing before being processed. Changes and cancellation can be accepted only prior to our scheduled production. Once the order is in production, it can't be changed or cancelled. We commence processing the order after sending out the confirmation and receiving the customer's acceptance as well as the 50% down payment. However, in case of being unable to complete the order due to reasons of force majeure or delay of payment of the customer, we are free to cancel the order. In these cases the customer has no claim for damages at law.

Payment:

We request wire payment via Bank to Bank TT (Telegraphic Transfer). Once you have received the order confirmation from us, we request a 50% deposit to be transferred to the account mentioned in the order confirmation. The final 50% for products (TT or L/C) as well as the shipping cost have to be paid when the container is sealed and ready to be delivered to the port of destination. After receiving payment we immediately send all documents via courier to the customer.

Warranty:

We guarantee our customers to provide only the highest quality products and ensure these items will reach you in good condition. However, if claims should occur proving production failure, they should be filed within 14 days of receiving your consignment and be accompanied by photographs or other evidence of the problem incurred (claims regarding stone- or ceramic products must be accompanied by fotos done before the protecting wooden frame was removed). We then refund the damaged articles by transferring back the amount paid for them (on FOB basis).
